Had a lot of rain this week, and the tomato plants have loved it! They look great. Hot today, 84 at 4:15. Put last of NH3NO3 on bales today.

Time to start the garden
Yesterday 4/16, cleaned out remainder of last year's turnips and mustard, raked out leaves and turned soil a bit. Bought 4 bags of topsoil and 3 bags of composted cow manure. Wet down the hay bale and added the first half cup of NH3NO3. Also added some soil behind the pond and planted a Goliath bush tomato plant. Planted a couple of watermelon seeds just for funsies. In front patio, planted three basil and one dill plant.
